Healing: By Waiting for the LORD

How Can We Find Healing? Psalm 130
This brief Psalm offers truth and wisdom for us as we seek to find healing.
The key is waiting for the LORD.
Waiting for the LORD: CRYING
Psalm 130:1-2 says:
Out of the depths I cry to you, O LORD!
O Lord, hear my voice!
Let your ears be attentive
to the voice of my pleas for mercy!
Out of the depths, I cry to you, O LORD!
Waiting for the LORD: CONFESSING
Psalm 130:3-4 tells us:
If you, O Lord, should mark iniquities,
O Lord, who could stand?
But with you there is forgiveness,
that you may be feared.
If you, O LORD, should mark iniquities, O LORD, who could stand?
Waiting for the LORD: WAITING
Psalm 130:5-6 says:
I wait for the LORD, my soul waits,
and in His word I hope;
my soul waits for the LORD
more than watchmen for the morning,
more than watchmen for the morning.
I wait for the LORD, my soul waits...
Waiting for the LORD: WITNESSING
Psalm 130:7-8 tells us:
O Israel, hope in the LORD!
For with the Lord there is steadfast love,
and with him is plentiful redemption.
And he will redeem Israel
from all his iniquities.
O Israel, hope in the LORD!
Jesus came to heal us.
MARK 2:17
And when Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.”
